3.   Dark Fall

 

                                                              

 

There was the third piece of the puzzle,

winter was approaching, and all the trees were no longer those green tones, so my instinct led me to paintings in that cold and dark frequency.

 

    

Then I remembered seeing a concept where that stone woman was, falling through the most beautiful waterfall that I had ever seen in my life, so I prepared to translate that idea to this canvas.

 

It was very therapeutic to prepare the entire background, I took a giant brush I had, and I started to paint as if it were an abstract painting.

                                                          

 

The idea was evident in the beginning, but the result was unexpected, when I was finishing, already it had the final appearance, and this reminded me of mystical spirits, like a beautiful ghost, of a free fall out of nowhere.

Like when meditating, you get to that universe empty and stillness.

 

After all that feeling,

I remembered a curious fact about the Astronauts when they are in stellar space, and we believe that their bodies float, but is not like that,

the truth is that their bodies are in an endless fall at the same time, they fall at the speed that the ship falls, this gives that buoyancy effect,

 I was fascinated to see this in the painting that I had just painted.

 

 

Maybe it has happened that you think about the universe, death and many other things, that make us feel insignificant in the face of life and suddenly you lose all those fears and shames.

And you begin to appreciate this simplicity of the present, of being able to be. That's what this painting transmits to me every single day I look at it.
