1.London, under the immense cloud.
I have lived in London since 2015, I come from the
south of Spain, where we are hiding from the sun, and we pray for it to rain,
and what struck me the most was the grey days, it was hard for me to understand
that the sun was still with us, even when the clouds were covering all the
city.
Then my frequency trips London-Spain completely
changed my way of seeing any grey day.
When I do those kinds of trips, always happen
something special, during the beginning, when we go through that clouds layer
and from that moment when the sun appears and your eyes slowly narrow, your
skin feels its warmth, and at the same time, a subtle smile is drawn on your
face. This can be one of the most beautiful views and feelings I have ever seen
in me life.
You much realise that after a sequence of many greys
days, we put ourselves in a different mood, I know that vitamin D3 deficiency,
have most of the reason why, like the frustrating situations of our day to day,
which are continually changing our natural mood.
When I started this painting; I was in Hammersmith
in a cosy studio, I lived alone. I was a massage therapist in a very
prestigious gym in High Street Kensington. Where many of my clients inspirited
me, they were coming fully o mind problems (big grey cloud in mind) so after
our relaxing treatment, they were in that happiness that in talking about
before. They have just been in the present moment, the warm and comfortable
massage. In our singular present.
Well, then I was in my studio with an empty canvas
and a lot of ideas, so I started to design and, curiously, in that studio I had
a window that overlooked the back garden. I lived on the roof; it was a typical
Victorian house. So, there was a fireplace, that was my source of inspiration
to start.
I remember how every morning with excellent
smelling coffee all over my room, I have watched squirrels go in and out of
there, the pigeons on top the surface, to watch everything, and I wondered if
it would be possible also to go up to look at everything, (because was dangerous
to go up from my room)
This painting was a representation of all this feeling
and ideas together creating the fabulous- London, under the immense cloud.
.
This painting, for some reason, is the favourite of
the majority of the people I show it to, maybe this one has something else that
I can´t, and you can see.
I would like to delve into the topic of happiness
and what is for me this.
If you practice yoga, meditation regularly, you may
know what emotional state I am talking about.
Meditating keeps you in the present and in this
present, there is only happiness, calm, and I´m going to explain to you why; fear
and anxiety is about being in the future and depression is about being in the
past.
(present + consciousness = happiness)
Read this concept many
times until you understand its meaning, I think it’s really important.
Also, there are two books that I want to
recommend you
Flow Book by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
A New Earth Book by Eckhart

ABOUT THIS PAINTING
Flow and calm between the fast pace of life in the city of London, this work immerses you in deep meditation, rising above the clouds. It will remind you that on grey days the sun is there. What I want to reflect in this work is that she found happiness in the present. A composition of a woman in height and colour that form a harmonious appearance. The most representative colours associated with the grey horizon and the blue sky. Tops of the mythical buildings and a radiant sun are in comfortable warm tones. Any wall would hug this artwork, especially in areas of meditation, yoga rooms, kid's rooms or any part of your home that need a good vibe. This unique composition will give you a piece of art that no one can ignore. This painting is called: London under the immense cloud.
